do you know a good rheumatalogist in the boston area?, my mother has a bad case of it, she can barely walk or move her joints, they are inflamed, stiff, and she can’t ben her knee or reach her face. her doctor recomended her to visit a rheumatologist. can anyone help us please.

I have been athletic all my life. Yet have never injured this knee. After X-rays and mri’s my doctor tells me it is arthritis. He gave me ULTRAM but it doesnt seam to help. He suggests physical therapy but i used to have to do that after injuries like sprains or pulls. I dont care about the pills(they dont work) i just wanna be able to play basketball again. what will work?

I have a 10 yo Chocolate Lab and has experienced serious arthritis for half her life and continues to worsen. Of course I already give her a glucosamine supplement, etc. I’ve tried Rimadyl, and even Mobic, but nothing seems to work long term or consistently. Aren’t there new injection medications out now? I have recently found out I have chlamydia, which means i have probably had it for 3 years. Over the last year i have noticed clicking in my wrists and sometimes in the ankles - could this be caused by chlamydia ? or just age? and will the pills for chlamydia clear everything up?
