How much ginger should you eat to use it for an anti-inflammatory?

Your best bet is really to see a naturopath in person. They will be able to help you determine which herbal supplements would bring your body back into balance. Please check with your local health food store to see if there is a naturopath they could recommend to you. If not, you can go to http://nt3.healthkeepers.net:8080/trinity/search.html. They have graduates listed by state on their web site. I have worked with some of their students and have found them to be quite knowledgeable. Also, my father went to a naturopath and was able to stop his arthritis medications completely, without experiencing pain.
Well, there should be a serving size recommendation on the package (if it’s processed). Fresh ginger, you’d really only use what is typically used for cooking purposes, e.g. < 1 tsp. I buy candied ginger from Trader Joe’s and try to eat a 2-3 chunks every night.
Obviously, though not anti-inflammatory, Glucosamine/Condroitin is recommended for arthritis.

Experiment with it until you get a dose that works for you. Everyone is different. You do not need to pay anyone to tell you how much to take. Just start off with a small amount and if that does not work, add a bit until you can feel a difference.
