This is a friend of mine, who has always been active and likes sports, but has recently been diagnosed with arthritis in both knees. She was advised to lose weight too, so the knees would not have to work hard carrying the extra weight.
What kind of exercise would be good for someone with knee replacement?
Can it kill you? Or do you stay alive with it and its something you have until you die or something, Is it an infection what kills you or do you just live with it? It's a request from my brothers friend, He thinks its growing pains or juvenile arthritis.

I adopted a 13 year old dog from the pound (they were about to put her to sleep) and she has mild arthritis. I give her soft pillows to lie on and let her be on the couch but she still seems to move stiffly and lies around a lot. Is there any special food I can give her or anything? I have never had an old dog before.
I found out she had arthritis a month ago and i've been giving her medicine for it since then, could that be causing weight gain?

I have been running 3 miles every day for a month. I have knee pain. It is not too bad but still makes me uncomfortable. During the days I do not run I have no knee pain (I usually supplement by going for a walk or swim). So what do you do to manage knee pain after running?
My arthritis in my hip is so painful that it’s difficult to sleep at night. I know I need to lose weight and I’m working on that, but what’s the best way to try to be comfortable in the meantime? My Dr. suggested I take Tylenol 8 Hour Extendtabs at night in addition to the Naprosyn I take twice daily, so I’m trying that tonight. I’m also trying a capsaicin patch. Narcotics and sleeping pills are not an option. Anything else I can do?

I have a 9 year old Rottweiler (named Belle) who is having some trouble with arthritis. She is becoming more stiff as the nights get colder, I'm doing what I can for her. I let her sleep on my bed, and on the couch when she's in the living room. I am also giving her Bayer Asprin (I asked my vet about the appropriate dose), but she is still limping a bit through out the day. Is there anything else I can do the ease her arhritis pain without having to put her on a perscription medication?
I've danced Tahitian for a long time, and I never really thought about this till now. In tahitian dancing, hip movement is the key, and the bigger the sway is, the better. However, I don't know if the constant dance of this will affect the cartilage on my hip joint or not.
My young son is on Enbrel for arthritis. His uncle had psoriatic arthritis also and had been on Enbrel for 3 years, then had cancer 3 months ago. He died last week from it. His doctors thought Enbrel caused the cancer. We're looking for doctors to give alternative treatment without Enbrel.
