No vision problems up until now~ Another, he can be looking at like a computer screen and things go unfocused and a little blurry, no double vision.. What do you think? Has neck problems(Cervical Degenerative Arthritis) Thanks for the input~

My grandparents are 74 and 84 years old and reside in Puerto Rico. Problem is they live alone and have nobody to care for them. My grandfather has altzeimers and diabetes and is getting lost and loosing his money constantly. Grandmother has heart condition and can’t walk due to a degenerative arthritis. They don’t have any one to help them with basics like cooking, cleaning and going to the Dr. or leisure activity. Grandmother is willing to move with me but grandfather is scared of moving someplace new. They have been robbed several times because neighbors know they are alone and vulnerable. Is there any way I can legally become like their "guardian" and try and get them to move even beyond my grandfather’s will if Dr. confirms his illness? There aren’t many options for elders in Puerto Rico. Unless you are at your deathbed. Any suggestions?

Have multiple bulging disks and degenerative arthritis lower back plus bulging disk with bone spur pressing on spinal cord on neck. Constant pain, trouble walking, lifting, everything, ect.

Was taken off shots after being told that new studies show 2yrs is long enough. I recived it for 3 and half years and was not instructed to take calcium supplements(standard practice now) I am being told that new studies have linked it to brittle bones. I still haven’t had a cycle yet and its been 8mths. I already have degenerative arthritis and had a battle with osteomylitis from an old carwreck i was in yrs ago. Can anyone tell me anything about this form of birthcontrol. Veterans hospital isnt set up to deal with young female vets. Can you believe the doc had her NP give me this shot repeatedly without researching it or my medical history. Is there anything i can do to reverse any damage to my bones or health for that matter.

400+lbs.; hypertension; degenerative arthritis; heart murmur; ashmatic …I’ve tried many fad diets and none of them work. I really need help from someone who knows how to help me become more healthy. Otherwise, I don’t know what I’ll do.

i know absolutely nothing about it.
if im fifteen years can i do it? or is there a certain age?
i know this will sound completely weird but i just got my lip pierced twice and i loved the pain so my friend said giving blood would be a good since i can tolerate the needles.
the medical problems i have are messed up joints and degenerative arthritis in my ankles(i have two malpracticed surgeries) and asthma. would that affect me if i gave blood?
give me as much facts about it as you can. thank you.

I’m 20, and have been diagnosed with scoliosis and also degenerative arthritis (either rheumatoid or osteo - still have to do blood work to find out). Being as young as I am, what can I expect the future to hold for me concerning these problems?

Also, my spine apparently curves the opposite way in which it would normally go in most people (I think to the left maybe? I’m not sure, just the other way than normal).

2 yrs ago i was diagnosed with degenerative arthritis. symptoms have gotten worse so doc ordered an mri. today i learned in addition i have degenerative disc and joint disease. he will talk to me about this at my next appt. is anyone familiar with this ?

Obesity , heart disease, degenerative arthritis, and Diabetes, are the main things most elders and retirees are being treated for with our Medicare money. Why wouldn’t that be covered so the system could save trillions with one simple surgery? Obesity is our nations downfall and largest health threat.

It changed my outlook on my entire life. I was forced to retire after 28 years in the construction industry after I had a heart attack at 47 and was also fighting Degenerative arthritis. Now life is simple and I get my pensions.

I’m on a pain program for chronic degenerative arthritis and need to switch my pain meds.

– My mum suffers from Osteoarthritis/degenerative arthritis in both her knees.

– She finds that the usual walking/jogging/cycling will cause her excruciating pain, and then she finds it difficult to walk.

– Recccomend a safe exercise for her, to lose some pounds? She’s overweight, and she’s 51 years old.

– Thanks for answering =)

The auto is NOT a lemon, so cannot be returned under the Lemon Law statutes.

But within the first few weeks of driving this new car I have realized, due to my condition of degenerative arthritis and spinal-disc injuries, the manual 4-speed shifting is aggrivating the sciatic nerves and pain in my legs.

Is there any provision by which I can return this vehicle and cancel the lease agreement without major financial losses, or swap this car for one with an automatic transmission?

The purchase / lease was executed on March 12. Can I cancel this contract if it is less than 30 days since signing? Is there any grace period for auto leases in NY State?

A family member has degenerative arthritis and his fingers are getting shorter every year. Tennis is his love and before he can’t play I am searching for a company or place that may have created a tennis racquet for someone that may have lost their fingers in the past.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Why do my bone scans turn out excellent, yet I have been told I have Osteo-arthritis in my lower spine & hips? I’ve had a reputured-fragmented disk removed from the C4-5 area (cervical)—NECK—and I’ve been diagnosed by a world reknown medical facility as having a "degenerative arthritis" in my entire spinal column…yet, I’ve had several top orthopods tell me I have osteo-arthritis in my lower spinal area..and hips…yet my Bone Scans turn out EXCELLENT. This is all so conflicting to me. Is there a medical professional who can explain this?

I have been diagnosed about 7mos ago with Degenerative Arthritis in my Lower Lumbar (L4). I can not take my med’s when working, makes me very tired (Vicodin). I have a sit down job (Desktop Publishing) and after a few hours, my back is killing me. I have the chair supports for my back and get up every 30min or so to stretch. What kind of exercises could I do that help to strengthen my back muscles that won’t be too over-exerting? And would Advil or Bayer be better for the inflamation?
DO NOT answer this question if your gonna say to ask my doctor.
It is asked in general to those who are in the same situation.
Thank you for the helpful responses, thus far.

I am a 30 yr old male…exercise regularly, in a good shape, never had any injuries….
However, I started to have this terrible pain on my back early this year. An X-ray was taken last week. The result shocked me — my doctor saw degenerative changes on the spine when comparing it to an X-ray pic taken last summer. He said it’s an odd place to have degenerative arthritis as that part of the spine (chest area) is not supporting any major body weight. My doctor recommended me to see a specialist. I am very worried at this point. What could cause the degeneration? What can I do to slow it down or prevent further damage? …. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I’m an obese woman with severe degenerative arthritis in both knees. I’m in constant pain, and can’t walk or stand much, now in a wheelchair. I’ve tried several diets, none seem to work. I even did a bad thing and started taking Xenadrine NRG 8hour ( It work for me before when I was younger, & not on meds), and due to the 50Million medicines I’m on, it counteracted and I almost had a heart attack. Oh and I have a small blockage in my heart controlled by Bayer low dose. Growing old SUCKS!! I don’t want much. I just want to lose enough to get me able to be in less pain and be “frisky” with my wonderful husband again! I know I’m not active but, come on , something got to give when you’re taking slim fast for breakfast and lunch then a sensible dinner. That’s a WAY big difference from what I use to eat!! Any ideas on what can help? Could the medications cause me not to lose?

My mom was just diagnosed with degenerative arthritis in her body. What should I expect? I treid to look this up online, but I couldn’t find anything useful…. Thanks in advance!

At this point, it can even look stupid! My mother has severe degenerative arthritis in both hips and has a difficult time getting up from the furniture. She just purchased this furniture last year and didn’t even think about the height! She just thought it was "pretty". Why do people do that???

Anyway, what can I purchase to raise this furniture? At this point looks are not an issue. Thanks for serious answers!

Doctor says its degenerative disk desease or degenerative arthritis.

Degenerative arthritis in hips and legs.
I am within my weight range.

ok, I have degenerative arthritis in my knees and they’ve been hurting really bad lately. Is there anything I can do to sooth the pain? I tried warm pads, and cold ones, but they don’t seem to help. Maybe I’m doing it wrong…I don’t know. Please, any suggestion is welcome.

I need to get my Dad into a group therapy situation for his severe degenerative arthritis, or a chronic pain group. I have looked online and not found anything helpful. Does anyone know of a group at the Jersey Shore (Lavallette, NJ 07835)/Toms River, NJ/etc area? Please share any information on this. Thank you very much.
Thanks for your help - any one else have info too? I have contacted the website for more info…
