Now that my liver is toxic, my dr. has taken me off of this drug. I am scared to death of enbral, humera, and those other biologic drugs. Does anyone know of anything natural for inflammation? My feet hurt quite a bit. Thanks!!!
how its related to tonsilitis and if someone gets it: what are drugs and diet he should take
I have really bad arthritis and I have to take steroids. I try and starve myself, and eat around 400 calories a day, but I’m getting really fat from the drugs. My doctor told me that it was normal, and it will go away when I’m off the meds, but I have to be on them for awhile. I am so embarassed of what people must think of me. It’s embarassing to go out, I am a size 14 now, I used to be a 6. I get stared at when I am in public. I don’t know how to deal with this, it’s not like I can wear a sign that says "I have arthritis, I’m on steroids". I want to look young, like I am, and cute. Not bloated, sick and fat. Help.
Being a size 14 may not seem so bad for some of you, but I am only 5 feet tall. I look like an oompah loompah.
I want to know an easy way to grow hydro. Don’t say anything like don’t do drugs this is for my medical arthritis because i don’t want to waste money buying my prescription over and over again and my doctor says i can.
Beat arthritis pain with GINGER? Who needs drugs? It’s true. In clinical studies, ordinary ginger relieved pain and swelling for a whopping 75% of arthritis

In the past 3 years I’ve been getting really sore thighs, knees, groin, neck and hands (although the hands thing could easily be attributed to how much time I spend on my computer).
I have also developed this horrible lumpy rash on my elbows and knees. Recently my mum mentioned that a few of my female cousins have this thing called psoriatic arthritis and it sounds like what I have. When I went to the doctor she was really nice but she said there was no test for it so I should just try to keep warm, do loads of exercise and come back when I had an inflamed joint to show her. The thing is, they never seem to get obscenely swollen or inflamed so I have no reason to go back. But it’s really uncomfortable, I find myself having to go walking around the city all evening because sitting still is so sore.
Any tips or advice? Because I am purely self-diagnosed I’m not going to go out and buy any drugs or anything. But I would be keen to try anything else that might help.
Thanks.
I am 28 yrs old and I can’t take the pain. My doctor wants to do a bone scan tomorrow and will probably start me one some rheumatic drugs. I am already taking the max on celebrx. I am always crying and cant seem to concentrate. I am also extremely fatique. I can seem to find someone to talk too. My best friend is busy with her 4 kids and my boyfriend is busy at work. I just called him and he could not take 5 minutes out of his busy schedule to take to me as i break down and cry.
I do not know what to do. I want the pain to go away. Please
help. I have always been a very upbeat person always smiling….now i can remember the last time i smiled and laughed.
Want to thank everyone for your support and help. Its truely comforting to know I am not alone.
It seems to me that everyday there is a new drug which comes out hailed as having great potential yet when you check around there seem to be few diseases which have been cured by any drugs. The headache is still around. High cholesterol still exists. People still have heart attacks. Cancer is as bad as ever. People still lose their hair as they get older. Gout and arthritis are still around. Epilepsy is still here. Alzheimers etc etc.
I’ll go even further than drugs. look into treatments in general. Teeth whitening doesn’t work that well. Skin creams haven’t helped the people I know. Smokers still have a hard time quitting. Fat people try everything to lose but they have yet to find a solution as far as I know.
And thousands of billions of dollars have been poured into solving all these problems. In the end the consumers would have been better off spending their money on something better.
Any thoughts on this reality?
Please suggest anything besides drugs or medicine that is natural and beneficial for arthritis. Thanks
For osteo-arthritis. Need another answer to drugs which cause stomach problems and side effects.
My sister had arthritis removed from her back and the doctor said that she should be able to get up on her feet the next day, it has been a week now and all she does is scream and cry. the doctor gave her some of the strongest pain med possiable but she still insist that it is not helping her. (She is a drug abuser). can she be in that much pain or is it just her wanting more drugs, i had a herniated disk removed 2 weeks ago and i was not in that kind of pain so i do not know if she is for real in pain or if she is just wanting attention and more drugs. i am not saying she is not in pain but the doctor said that she should not be acting this way. so should i tell her to straighten up and stop all the crying or what should i do for her. she is driving me insane.
What can be used for severe arthritis other than drugs I mean no drugs!!!!!! Not even Motrin
Such as antibiotics, Thyroxin, meds for rheumatoid arthritis?
I have actually been prescribed Thyroxin and I also have rheumatoid arthritis so these drugs are something I take daily.. I also work in hospital, so follow-up is always there. I was just looking for a reliable alternative for buying more of these drugs.
are there specific drugs or exercises to reduce oedema caused by osteo arthritis in the knee joints?
A relative was recently told based on blood tests that she may have pancreatic cancer. She has consistently taken nexium and other drugs for acid reflux, migraines, and arthritis. Can these drugs or any for that matter cause a blood test to come back positive for pancreatic cancer?
I injured the knee in 8th grade (I’m 31 now). It keeps fluid on it and the arthritis that has set up in it is just gradually getting worse. It has taken to trying to pop out of place lately too. When it pops it is usually pretty loud and then I have to kind of stand there for a few seconds and move it gently to get it comfortable to walk on again. I use a cold rice pack and Tylenol Arthritis. That’s all I have. Is there anything else I can do for it?
I can’t take Ibuprofen, Aleve, Excedrin or really anything other than Tyenol (acetaminophen) Can’t even use Aspercream.
Also, I have seen a doctor for it. He said the arthritis is bad for my age but didn’t prescribe either drugs or therapy.
I have a friend that has recently been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. She is in her early forties and her job does require she stay on her feet most of the day.
I know this is not a curable condition but I was wondering if anyone could share some tips with me on how to alleviate some of the symptoms (without drugs).
Thanks in advance.
I have stage IV cirrhosis of the liver, and sever arthritis that prevents me from working and my Workman’s compensation doctors won’t prescribe anything other than Vicodin for my pain. I know acetaminophen is bad for the liver, and was wondering if workman compensation doctors are only allowed to prescribe a certain class of drugs for pain. The doctors know I have stage IV cirrhosis of the liver, and they still prescribe pain medication that is bad from my liver.
I’ve been taking a drug for high blood pressure and now I am also taking a drug for arthritis pain. Is there a website that I can enter the two drugs to see if there is any known reactions?
Please suggest anything besides drugs or medicine that is natural and beneficial for arthritis. Thanks
Wondering what everyone uses for Arthritis and the syptoms that go along with it? I would prefer to find a way that does not require drugs, but not sure if it is possible?
Over the counter drugs are blamed for causing cancer in kids and young adults
This was a page three article in the Ottawa Times A Illinois paper
Sorry that should have been page two. The article originated from Washington with the FDA as the sourse
It seems like there is always a charity event going on to raise money for these diseases, and pharmaceutical companies have been researching them with government funding for decades now. Yet, millions of people with these illnesses (or their insurance) have no choice but to pay thousands of dollars a month for these medications, for however long they’re sick which can be years or their whole lives. I understand that they need to raise prices a little to pay for scientists doing this research and development, but if you look at drugs developed 20 years ago that are now in generic form they cost maybe 0-200 for a months supply, compared to 00+ per dose for recently developed drugs. How much of that money actually goes to curing these diseases, and how much ends up as profit for the pharmaceutical companies, the insurance companies, illness support organizations, hospitals, etc?
About 7 years ago, I had a broken ankle which now has resulted in osteoarthritis. About a month ago, it felt like bugs were crawling on the top of my foot. They weren’t & I’m not on drugs. Now if I touch the back of my ankle, I can feel it in the front. Should I be concerned? It doesn’t hurt; it’s just annoying.
I have had 3 infusions with bad side-effects, anyone else with sideeffects or reactions to the drug. I take the drugs for my Chrohns. My next infusions is on April 12th, I'm alittle scared.
