What is the best remedy for osteoarthritis of the hips.?

   The only arthritis remedy that has ever worked for me, primarily in wrists, neck and hips, was to go on a low carb diet. I only mention this because you say "your opinions will be taken seriously," because I did not go on the diet for the purpose of helping the arthritis, but it definitely did help. I’d say it was about a month into it that I began to notice that the pain had diminished and stayed low.

   I am not sure, but I believe it helped because some food or group of foods, most likely sugar, possibly wheat/gluten, were eliminated from my system. I would never have thought diet a part of the equation.

   Unfortunately, reverting to a poor diet returned me to my prior state of arthritis pain.
